¡Help me get to the LIEMC 19 !

Hello!!

I'm Camila Franco, an M.A student in Linguistics at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá, Colombia. I recently got accepted into the LIEMC 19 conference, were I will give out a presentation about my preliminar thesis data.

This paper is titled Bilingualism and style variation: Ethnic Identity and Ideology in the L2 of Raizal Creole-speaking university students in San Andrés, Colombia. It describes how the Creole-Speaking students create strategies to show or hide their ethnic background.

This acceptance letter arrived in Dec 6, at that time all the possible funds that my University could provide were closed, and now I am left with no funding options. I already lost the opportunity to attend to the Eleventh International Conference on the Inclusive Museum, and I wouldn't want to miss another chance!

I'm charging for the expenses of the trip, including a day to get over jetlag!
