Hi everyone! My name is Emma and 3 and a half years ago I was diagnosed with Nutcracker Syndrome and Pelvic congestion Syndrome. It has been a very hard few years of multiple hospital admissions weekly and doctors not knowing how to deal with my illnesses because of how rare and understudied they are. I have not been able to find any doctor or specialist in all this time in Australia and it has left me to severely suffer physically, mentally and emotionally! It has not been easy for my family to see me bedridden and on high dose pain relief as I couldn't find any answers from doctors for years. Being bedridden and being in severe pain daily has made me lose friends, miss out on holidays, lose the ability to work and I can't do every day things such as housework. This has had a massive effect on me! Fortunately, my Mum came across a University in Pennsylvania USA who have doctors who specialize in treating my illness. We are still in talks with the International division in the University to arrange our travel, appointments and tests required. We are unsure as of yet how much money will be required but as I have been waiting so long for an opportunity like this, we thought we would get the ball rolling and start fundraising so we won't have anymore delays. I have attached a link for more information on my illness if you are interested! Please help me get my life back so I can have a normal life again! Every donation, whether big or small, will be greatly appreciated! ❤❤❤
