Help Me Get Through College

Ever since I was very young, I had a passion for learning. Instead of spending my days running around outside, or watching TV, I would spend hours with just about any book I could get my hands on - novels, encyclopedias, dictionaries, you name it.
As I grew older I realised that I had a talent for school and academics, and I was often chosen to attend academic extension and enrichment courses in addition to normal schooling. Currently, I attend a high school specifically for students that are gifted and talented. My love of learning has stayed with me through this time, and it is my dream to go on to college next year to study Psychology.
However, this is where my problems begin. When I was younger, my dad left our family and we have not heard from him since. My mother managed to get by supporting us by herself and with government benefits for the past few years, but the older I have gotten, the less we have been able to get along. Now, we fight almost everyday. Recently we had a massive fight and she told me that I should leave next year.
Since then, I have recieved a guaranteed place at the University boarding college, and was under the impression that with government benefits, I would be able to pay for it myself. However, the government is only able to offer me a very small amount of money per year - not enough to pay for my fees, even with a part time job. If I do not make enough to pay for the fees, I may have to drop out of uni to pursue full time work to support myself.
So with no other family to turn to, and no way of raising that amount of money in the mean time, I hope that you will be able to sponsor me to help me continue with my education. The college fees are $20,000 per year, and any amount you could give to help make that sum a little less daunting would be greatly helpful. By sponsoring me you will be helping me achieve my lifelong ambition to attend this prestigous university, and help me continue with my lifelong passion for learning.
