My name is Ethan Baughman and I am currently pursing my bachelors degree in criminal justice at Metro State University of Denver in Colorado, with the intent to become a police officer. My major goal for college, is to complete my degree debt free and to this point, I have been able do that. I have completed my associates degree over the last 1 1/2 years and will be completing my last 60 credits over the course of the next three semesters. This fall and next spring semester, I will be taking 21 credits to complete my 4-year bachelor degree in 3 years! I have been taking 18 credits for the last three semesters and taking summer classes as well. I currently have a GPA of 3.7 and still am going strong.
I have been able to work through school and been able to pay for my associates debt free! Unfortunately , starting this semester, since I am transferring to a university, it costs slightly more and I won't be able to work as much since I'm taking on a bigger load. I have applied for many scholarships, but have had no luck in getting any. According to my calculations I have made, $7000 along with the money I will make at my job over the next 1 1/2yrs, will allow me to get through college debt free, which is my ultimate goal and would be a huge achievement for me and motivation for others.
I want to humbly ask you to support me in my endeavors and help me in a major life goal for myself to complete my degree debt free and that I might one day be able to repay others with the same gratitude! Thank you!
