Help me get over my depression

Hi. I'm an 19 year old boy, who has been fighting depression and anxiety since an early age. I lost my bestfriend when i was not very big, and since then i've been battling suicidal tendencies, social anxiety and depression. I said no to medicine, cause i am a student, and i don't want to be stuck in it. I believe that i can get over this. However, i would love to travel around the world, so i can get some new experiences and perhaps change my perspective of the world, and life itself. Best regards.
