Help me get my son the Education he needs!

THIS IS MY SON'S STORY:

Hello all,
My name is Justin, 21 years old from South Africa and I was stuck in Malaysia due to the covid 19
virus. They say to raise funds you must be a honest as possible, so here we go:
My whole life I was never good at anything, except playing rugby. From early schooldays everyone
told me I have the skills and passion, but I had little believe in myself. When I was 17 I was selected
to play for an Invitational team from South Africa on a tour to Italy. My mom broke her back in
helping me raise the funds to go as we did not have it. Coming back from the tour I realized that I
can actually make it as a rugby player seeing that I had good performances on the tour.
Two years ago I went to Vietnam to get qualified in Teaching English as a Second Language, TEFL,
and I gained my qualification and gained experience in teaching. Then at the end of 2019 I flew over
to Malaysia to teach and play rugby. Both went great, I got an opportunity through the rugby to go
play for a club in Finland. I was on top of the world. Then the Covid 19 virus happened. My whole
world shattered into pieces around me. Due to social distancing, I lost my teaching job, could not fly
out to Finland as I could not get the visa and borders were starting to close. I stayed in Malaysia till the end of July and am so thank full for my mom and stepdad who are helping me to stay alive and fed. I lost the
opportunity to go play in Finland, but like the saying goes: "Where one door closes, another one
opens!"
I have been accepted to the Ireland Rugby Academy close to Dublin in Ireland. This is where I am
now asking help from the general and RUGBY community. I arrived in Ireland at the beginning of August, did my 14 days self isolation and am now at the academy.
I need Euros 10,000 to make this come true. Not only will I be trained in becoming a professional
player, I will also get valuable qualifications in rugby to fall back on once I can't play anymore. I have
been in contact with the club in Finland and would like to join them after this academy program.
My biggest challenge is the financial support. I can't ask more of my mom and stepdad - they are
wonderful and I know they have had tough times in supporting me thus far, and I know they will
keep on doing it.
I am a young man who wants to do the right thing by asking for support on this platform in order for
me to move on in life.

My mom and stepdad paid my flight ticket and visa costs to start off with.

In return, to show my appreciation I pledge to support a charity by doing volunteer work on my off
days and weekends - not because I have to - but, because I want to. If there are people and
communities willing to support me, I want to give back as well, I want to give part of who I am.
