My name is Zimasa Ninkie Dyani, I grew up in an informal settlement called ImizamoYethu situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town. I am a first born from a family of five, my mother, two sisters, sister's baby and brother. I grew up as a dancer, starting from dancing out side with just a drum and worked my way into dancing for a dance theater called Jikeleza and performed in, small and big, theaters and around Cape Town from a young age.
I later on discovered drama in high school and that was when I fell in love with acting, and I went and studied theater and Performance at the University of Cape to further my training in acting. Where I was fortunate enough to be under the National student fund financial scheme, it covered the full cost of my tuition and my graduated with a pass and was immediately casted in a few plays around Cape Town.
After completing my acting studies I wanted to finish school with a postgraduate in teaching and marketing. I wanted to have a certificate in teaching so that, I wont just be an actress but also a qualified drama teacher to teach in schools and in organisations around my community.
I graduated, undergraduate in 2014 as a part of the UCT Performers diploma in Theater, and 2015 I finished my postgraduate in PGCE (teaching) also under UCT. Unfortunately I was unable to receive my postgraduate certificate because I still have outstanding fees.
I have been struggling to get a teaching job, because I can't get my certificate. Please help me pay my outstanding fees so that I can get my qualification and get a job.
