My name is Anri and I'm a 21 year old law student from South-Africa. I'm currently in my 3rd year of studying law and I am hoping to graduate in 2021. I've always had a passion for justice and its been my dream to become a lawyer ever since I was a little girl. After high school I enrolled into university to pursue this dream. During my 1st year on university my dad lost his job and wasn't able to pay my tuition. I managed to get a bursary for my 2nd and 3rd year, which allowed me to keep studying, however I still have outstanding tuition from my 1st year. I've worked multiple part time jobs but the money I've saved hasn't been enough to pay the full amount. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, I haven't been able to work and neither has my parents. I work extremely hard and I do really well in my subjects, I've maintained an average of 65% and above and I've received Golden Key for my 2nd year which placed me at the top 15% of my classes. However, I will not be able to receive my degree if my outstanding debt is not paid.
I am a very ambitious and hard working student. The only thing holding me back from achieving my goals is this debt from 2018. I hope that this fundraiser will help me pay off my degree and help me reach my goals. The total amount of outstanding tuition amounts to R37000/2108,14 dollars and the deadline for the final payments are at the end of 2020. If anyone is able to help me and wants more information, please contact me and I will provide you with my account details from my university to prove that the proceeds will be going towards my tuition. Any donation will be appreciated immensely and it will truly change my life.
