Hi, my name is Kristina, and I'm asking for help in getting my horse back.
Three years ago I bought a newly-retired racehorse who I named Kieran. I spent a lot of time and effort reconditioning Kieran and began retraining him with the goal of him becoming my personal show horse. While I was working with him I sprained my ankle quite badly, and his training had to be put on hold for an indefinite period of time. During that time, a family friend seemed to form a bond with him and expressed interest in buying him, saying that she would send him to a trainer to have him finished out. After much consideration, I agreed, and wrote up a contract giving myself right of first refusal.
She never followed through in sending him to a trainer, she hasn't been giving him the care he needs, and she has apparently decided she no longer wants the horse. She's giving me a chance to buy him back, but has made it clear that if I don't buy him, she'll sell him to the first person who comes along with the money. He's a really nice, fancy horse, but he can be a bit high-strung, he's still pretty green, and at this point he hasn't been ridden in at least a year. If I can't get him back, he's not going to end up in a good situation.
I have somewhere to keep him and I still have all of his tack and everything else, I simply need help getting the money to actually buy him back, and that's where you come in! All I need is $600 - even donations of a few dollars would be helpful and very much appreciated!
