My name is Randy, and in late December I was pulled over for not wearing my seatbelt while enroute to taking my 2yr old son to the emergency room due to a high fever. Upon being pulled over, I was informed by the officer that my drivers license has been suspended a full 3 years and change previously, completely unbenknownst to me.
I had to call my son's mother to come pick him up, and I was arrested for the first time in my life. After appearing in court, and having never had any sort of run-ins with the law previously during my life, the judge was kind enough to give me a very small fee for the whole ordeal, so long as I just pleaded guilty, got my license reinstated properly, and paid the small fees associated with being pulled over.
Unfortunately, upon going to take care of getting all this stuff done, I found out that before I can even look at getting my license reinstated, I have to figure out some way to pay off the original ticket I was given in 2009 (I was doing 64mph upon coming into a 45 zone, while coming off a mountain near Dunlap, Tennessee), which is over $650.00.

I deplore having to ask folk for help on this, but I'm on a very tight monthly budget, due to my being on SSI disability, and there is no way I can come up with this amount of money, no matter what I do. Without my license I now barely ever get to see my youngest daughter, who lives about an hour and fifteen mintutes away, which truly is painful for both of us, and I can't even go get necessaties for my youngest son without finding a ride to and from the store. My fiance', god bless her, has been walking back and forth through the snow, sleet and freezing cold temps to work and back, because she doesn't know how to drive the stick shift car we have (Mostly because I usually drive everywhere).

I truly hate having to ask people for this kind of help, but after not being able to get such done within the first month the Judge granted me, and his seemingly displeased with my incapacity to do what little he asked. On Feb. 6th, he told me he'd give me another month, but that I should make sure I've paid something on it before I come back on March 6th, or he will not be happy with me. I have no other ideas on how to get this done without asking for such help, and honestly I apologize for having to at all, as I know money is tight for most these days.

Should You be so kind as to help us out with this, I would truly, genuinely and most sincerely appreciate any and all help You may be willing to contribute towards our getting this resolved, and I thank You kindly for doing so.

Randy
