Help me get my degree

So here is my story....I come from Indian background. Born and raised in India to a middle class family. Father was an engineer (who mostly stayed overseaes). I wouldnt classify my family as a conventional family. My dad would be overseaes and mom was a housewife with a very small budget to run the house for 6-8 months. When my dad would come home for 2-3months. It wasn't the happiest place. I had seen a lot of violence at a very young age. My mother went through Domestic violence and I grew up seeing my mom victimised by my own dad. When I was 13 and couldnt take it, I decided that I would fight against my dad if he raised his hands on my mom. Which he did. I protected her to what I could and that day we walked out with one bag and a dog and no where to go. We stayed at my cousins house for few days and stayed in a hotel for a month while my mom reconcilled things with my dad.Nonetheless, I was adamant. I told her I wont go back to that hell. I was in 8th grade or something and I clearly remember the wholse school kind of knew my situation and kids would talk behind my back. Divorce or seperation was highly stigmatized from where I come from. Now, here I am in Melbourne left that country and my mom has managed to invest in my education as an International student. She has paid for my tuitions fees so I can follow my dream job to become a lawyer. We survived from what could have been many more years of trauma. She stayed in a 25 years of marriage which was manly of abuse for the sake of her kids. All I want to do is help her in any way possible. My course is almost $100k worth, but I only would like to help her a little and hope that I can raise atleast a semester fees. It would be a huge relief on her to not have to pay a semester.
