Hi all,

If you are reading this, weather you will donate or not, I am thanking you for at least being curious as to what is inside this description. Also, I hope you are well.

For some, what I am wishing for (the motorcycle in the picture) sounded too much or much of a luxury. But kindly let me explain why I wanted a motorcycle in this first place by answering some "possible questions" that you have in mind.

I understand that you deserve explanations.

I mean, if I were to donate, I also want to know where the money will go and if it is worth it to help a stranger that is asking for help in getting a motorcycle online.

So, let me start:

1. "Why a motorcycle? Don't you feel ashamed of asking for something that you will personally use?"

-The answer is no. Because more than anything, I badly want to go home as soon as the clock will tell me that my shift is over. My son is going to be a 7 year old for only once, I want to see his childhood for as much as I can, while I can still hug and kiss him all I want without being shy about it.

2. "What is the connection of your son to the motorcycle?"

-He is the reason why I wanted one in the first place. My place is 18kms away from my workplace and it will only take me 40 minutes of driving a motorcycle to get back and forth, which saves me a lot of time. He will wake up with me still beside him, and he will sleep at night with me around.

3. "You know that your workplace is far from where you reside. Why did you apply and took the job offer there?"

-Because in the country that I am in, securing a job isn't a piece of cake. The industry that I am in is rampant on the current location of my workplace. Of course I tried applying on the nearby area, but most of them offers lowly unfair salary and are usually interviewing candidates only to fill in their manpower pooling.

4. "You said that this would help shorten your travel time. How many minutes or maybe hours does it take you to get to your office?

-This is with all honesty, I've been spending 6-7 hours of commute hours back and forth. My shift starts at 8 but I have to leave at 4:30am just to be in the office at least 30 minutes prior the shift. My shift ends at 6pm and I go home around quarter to 10pm. It is like I did a double shift during those hours and of course, I am not getting any younger. The 6-7 hours of heavy traffic sometimes would cause me muscle, joint and head pains almost at a daily basis.

5. "Doesn't your country have any other mode of transportation?"

-There are lots. But the transportation just cannot contain or accommodate the daily commuters on a level that you would be comfortable after having a rough day at work. However, I will be attaching pictures and kindly take a look at it. There are very long, non-moving lines everywhere. I am encouraging you to check how our train system here works (Philippines) especially the MRT. There really almost no option for the commuters and this made it more unsafe for us.

6. "I just feel that you are asking this only because of a whim. You just want to show off."

-With all due respect, I would have asked for a car instead of a motorcycle if I just want to show off. I prefer motorcycle because it is fast and can go through lanes with small spaces.

7. "You said you have a job. Why not save up for it instead of asking people in here?"

-Because I have a 7 year old son that I want to go home to everyday and cook meals for. Second reason is, my body might give up anytime if my harsh commuting hours will continue. Traffic here worsens every day. I have been wanting to save up for it but it is a huge amount for someone who is working on a fixed salary while paying the bills and supporting a kid all at the same time. That is why I turned to you guys for help.

8. "Don't you have a family member to help you? Or even a friend?"

-Sometimes it is better to ask help from stranger than those people that falls into the bracket that I mentioned.

9. "I tried looking for a motorcycle on a Philippine website and this is not the cheapest of them all. This is not the cheapest motorcycle. Why not pick (insert brand here) instead?"

-I understand that it is not the cheapest. However this is also not the most expensive. Doesn't even get close. This is a mid-range unit and I picked this because I wanted it to last long. Sure, I could get the much cheaper one but if it will eat up gas and money for repairs, it will defeat the purpose of saving time. This mid range model has very good reviews and are recommended by many people.

10. "How can we make sure that you really did bought the item?"

-I honestly don't know how this works yet, but I can send you a photo on your e-mail addresses.

These are the questions that I have in mind. I am knocking on your hearts and would be greatly thankful for any kind of help. This would really change the tide of our day together everyday.

Below are the pictures that I mentioned:

*this picture was taken when I used the bus as a mode of transportation.

This is the line that I would have to endure every after shift just to get home. Takes me about an hour or two on waiting for a Van.

The second ride before I can officially say that I am home.

And same thing, at a different day.

In advance, thank you all very much. Even just by checking on this story, I greatly appreciate it. And for those people who will be helping me, may all the blessings be upon all of you.
