Help Me Get A Phone for Online College

Hello, my name is Sabian and I need a new phone for online learning.

Outline of the situation:

My father and mother got divorced when I was a kid. My mother's job is only enough to fulfill basic needs. I asked my father to chip in for a phone because I'm starting college soon. He agreed and told me to transfer my savings to him. The next few days, he suddenly told me that he has some problems and I can't contact him ever since. He has not returned my money even now.

Why don't I just find a job?

I've worked as a cook helper before but I quit my job to study for college entrance exams. The money I saved from the job is the money my father took. It's also very difficult to find another job again after that.

Why do I need a phone?

Currently, I'm borrowing my mother's boyfriend's phone. However this phone can not support the apps I need for online college (such as Zoom and the like). It can only be used for Whatsapp and calls.

Disclaimer:

I'm not buying an expensive phone. I just need something with a decent amount of storage and decent specs.
