Help me get a Master’s degree

I am a young female with great passion for world's health and well-being. I have been granted a firm offer to study at the esteemed University of Cape town for a master’s degree in Health Innovation. Reason why I am launching this fundraising to support my studies. Holding this master’s degree will allow me to fulfill my dream of making an impact in people's lives by improving the health sector and providing sustainable solutions to challenges that are being faced worldwide by the human race.

I am a refugee here in South Africa but originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, I have witnessed deficit in the health sector and the event that ignited my passion more for Health innovation was when I lost both my parents in 2016 and 2017 from "a short sickness period” which could not even be identified by doctors due to lack of better health solutions and resources. If only I had been able to help then.

I believe that my country as well as the whole of Africa needs me to stand up and help now. Moreover, what motivates me more is that I think they are tones of thousands of Men, Woman and Children who are dying every single day due to poor medical conditions, here in South Africa as well as back in my home country. If given a chance to be funded for this two year program, I believe that I can make a difference and save lives if not for my dream’s sake, at least in memory of both my late parents.

My previous studies were funded by the Study trust organization but they can not fund master’s degree which is why I am turning towards this fundraising and I am so hoping that as we cross over into the New Year, my story will touch your heart.
