Help me get a laptop for my career

Hello, my name is Evelyn Blackeney. I am a 21 year old woman, currently a freshman Electronics Engineer major in college.

First, I would like to thank those who are taking time to read my fundraiser. Time is very precious and I am aware that many are quite busy with tasks they have to complete. It means a lot that you have actually clicked on my link to hear what I have to say.

Currently, I am struggling financially to make ends meet, especially for my academics. I am in desperate need of a new laptop equipped with strong specs able to maintain the programs and files that I will need throughout the next several years in my Engineering studies. As a black woman, acquiring this Engineering degree is very crucial to me as I hope to break barriers and become an inspiration to young black young women who MUST dominate the STEM field. As the movie, Hidden Figures, itself states, "Genius has no gender". Any remaining funds that I have left over will be reserved for books and school supplies I need for my studies along with some medicinal items I will need in preparation for my health declining.

I cannot say the road I am walking is a piece of cake as I am hit with challenges left and right. However, I know that my great creator, GOD, has tremendous plans for me and he will provide. I put my utmost faith in him and in YOU to assist making an investment into my future.
