Help me get a bike so i can work in a better place

I am currently living in a house almost 10 Km away from the city (had to live in such a place because we couldn't afford a better one), and it would really help kickstart our life as a family to get a bike so i can get more flexible jobs at the city, it might sound not that bad, but my dad is half paralyzed and the whole family depends on me to bring them food, and throughout my whole life i had too much dignity to ask for anything, but i guess times change and the current situation is not getting any better, since more than half my current income goes into house tuition and third of it goes into commuting expenses and the rest is what we live on
