Help me get a better education and turn my dream into a reality

Hi, I'm a 17-year-old student living in South Africa, I'm currently finishing my final year of high school. I've always had a passion for film, TV and media - I would always film school trips, family weddings and family travels. It's my dream to study film. Unfortunately here in South Africa - A third world country, I do not have the opportunities to accomplish my dream. I often daydream and see myself directing million dollar budget movies in Hollywood - my ultimate goal in live. That will not happen unless I put the time, effort and work in. Yes, I do understand that this big goal of mine to direct and produce million dollar movies sounds impossible - but I believe it is possible, like my great president Nelson Mandela once said, "it seems impossible until it's done". I constantly remind myself of the famous quote by Jesse Owens - We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.

I believe that I can have a great impact on the world, I believe that I will, in the near future, accomplish all my dreams and goals but in order to do so I need to start somewhere, and there is no better place to start than to get a quality tertiary education. I would like to study at the California State University, Los Angeles, where Steven Spielberg, my mentor studied. I do believe that I have a chance to study at the university but I do not have financial aid. I do come from a poverty driven country with little opportunities but I believe that I will get a quality tertiary education in a better country but the only thing I need is funding. The course I want to do in film requires $9,800 for the year, this excludes my medical aid, shelter, basic needs etc
