Help me furnish my flat

My name is Hossam Faris, I'm a Syrian queer refugee, I recently obtained my residency status that allows me to stay in Germany, after almost 7 years of leaving home, 7 years I spent on a constant state of homelessness, moving around from one country to another, being rejected frequently by the authorities as an asylum seeker, 7 years during which I forgot the meaning of stability, privacy, home, safety.

I forgot how it feels to settle down and have your own space. After a long, deadly journey from the war zone of Syria to Turkey, I thought I'll find some peace, but I faced there lots of discrimination as a Syrian refugee and as a queer person, until it got too dangerous and scary. Which made me escape to Greece thinking it'd be better, but I found myself homeless upon arrival, there was no state aid or proper and enough housing for everyone. Without the help of some friends there I wouldn’t have survived, still it was impossible to build a life there, so I escaped to Sweden and Norway where my asylum demands were rejected and I got deported back to Greece.
I didn't give up, I continued trying until it worked out and I found a way to come to Germany, where things started changing for the better.
I had to wait long time in refugee camps, but now after the long wait and uncomfortable accommodation situation for the past 3 years in Germany, I can say now it was worth it. I got my residency, I have the right to rent my own place, and now after all this time, my dream of having a place of my own, having privacy and independence, all that struggle lead me here, now I found a place that I can call home.
This beautiful place in Berlin is like my dream space, but it's completely empty, I need to raise some money to furnish it, since the rent is already too high and the job center responsible for my accommodation agreed to pay the rent but they can't pay enough money to cover the whole costs of everything missing in the flat on top of the high deposit that they'll cut out of my small allowance.
I'm moving into the flat by next month, and will need to start getting what's missing of electronic equipment, furniture, kitchen utensils, carpets (to protect me from the cold). With your support I can start doing that soon, and your help is truly appreciated.
