Help Me fund My Daughter’s Scoliosis Surgery!

My name is Fe De Vera and my daughter’s name is Feona Jayne De Vera. She is 13 years old and she was diagnosed with Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis in March 2016 when she was 12 years old. An S shaped scoliosis of thoracolumbar spine is noted (as shown in the picture).The scoliotic angle of lower thoracic spine is about 38 degrees and of lumbar spine is about 32 degrees. That was in March 2016. Her doctor suggested wearing braces hoping that it would reduce or stop the curve. Unfortunately, the curve had continued to worsen rapidly despite bracing for 5 months. Her next x-ray was taken last October 2016. The lower thoracic angle worsened from 38 degrees in March 2016 to 50 degrees in October 2016. And of lumbar spine from 32 degrees to 45 degrees thus, her doctor strongly recommends Spine Fusion Surgery to save her spine from further curve. Her surgery is scheduled on April 25, 2017 here in Thailand in a government hospital because we cannot afford to have her surgery in a private or international hospital. The surgery will cost $7,350.00 or 250,000 Thai baht inclusive of surgery, post-surgery, and therapy expenses. Our savings is not yet enough and we still need $ 1,500 or 50,000 in Thai baht.

She has been consistently an honor student in her school from K-7. And her dream is to become a designer or an architect someday as she loves painting and drawing. She is also active in extra-curricular activities in school like singing, sports and drawing or sketching. I would like her to grow up healthy without further complications such as chronic back pain, lung and heart damage and to look just like any of her age…without uneven hips and hanging shoulders.
