Help Me Fund Medical School Studies

My warmest welcome to the kind soul that is reading this.

My name is Pradheeb, I am 20 years old, and I come from a small town called Temerloh in Malaysia. I am currently stuck between having excellent results and being unable to pay for my medical school fees.

About Myself

I come from a humble family of 4 with a younger sister who is still in high school.

I always wanted to be a doctor since I was little and the passing of my grandma due to cancer further strengthened my passion to help others in pain. I worked hard to maintain good grades since primary school and have recently completed my foundation in science studies with a 4.00 CGPA.

Through these excellent results, I am grateful for being blessed with a Merit-based scholarship and a student loan of RM250000 from PTPTN which is the government body that grants needy students with education loans. Even with all that, there is still a remainder of RM121000 (tuition and living expenses) which both of my parents who are currently above 60 and retired are unable to pay. This includes the remaining tuition fees and living expenses (includes hostel fees and food). It is the biggest challenge that is standing between me and my goal of pursuing my passion. As you all know med school is very expensive, but I really want to make it work and achieve my goal to be a good role model to my sister and help those in need.

Reason For Starting This Fund

I was unsuccessful in finding the necessary remaining funding myself and the current covid situation only made matters worse as there are a lot of travel restrictions in my country. Besides that, there are very few organizations that are willing to fund a medical student in Malaysia, and even the ones that do offer very limited slots. Therefore, I am seeking your kind generosity in helping me ease this financial burden and enabling me to help back my community as a doctor.

Every dollar donated will help me greatly towards reaching my goal and allow me to study worry-free by reducing my financial burden and debt. With all respect, I would like to humbly request your kindness.
