Please Help Me Keep My Creativity Alive!

Hello everyone! My name is Malin. I have always been creative in different ways, wether it be through photography, painting, or graphic design. I have some art education but I have never been able to work in the creative field. I have worked a minimum wage job for many years to get by. But my dream is to try and get a job where I can use my creativity, and not just have it as a hobby where I try to find time for it after long and exhausting hours of grinding a mindless job.

In order for me to evolve my skills and grow my knowledge I need the tools to do so. I do draw and sketch on paper, but most of my creative work involves using advanced computer programs like SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and some video editing programs. To use these programs a computer needs to be powerful enough to handle them, but what I am using right now if far from adequate. I have a laptop from 2013, that is nowhere near powerful and it's running on it's last legs. I keep copying everything to an external hard drive, just in case it won't start one day. A computer that can handle these heavy programs and that will last for a few years (without becoming outdated) cost around $1000, I already have about $500 saved up, but with how everything is going I have a lot to pay for right now. This is why I'm asking for help. If I can someday get the tools I need, I might finally be able to work with what I love.

I have knowledge on building computers so I will be building this computer myself. If I am able to raise this money I will make a video of this build that I will post on YouTube for you all to see what you have helped me achieve.
