Hello good people of the world. My name is Tihomir and I am an artist. Few months ago we had a big earthquake in Zagreb, Croatia. Magnitude 5.5 of Richter scale. It woke us up and we ran outside. It was really scary. Good thing that we did because few more followed. A lot of people lost their homes, a lot of public houses are closed and my studio was also damaged a bit. First I thought myself lucky. Only a few wall crack and plumbing not working but as the days go by more and more cracks are getting bigger. With the winter coming and probably snowing I got worried. Those wooden boards attic studio is made of are 50 - 60 kg each and I dont want them to fall on my head. Especially when my 6yrs old kid is with me. I tryed to fix it myself but to no avail.

It is really difficult financial time for me right now. Work oportunities are getting smaller and debts are getting bigger. I am not economicly viable as a man said in Falling down, so banks are not the option. Goverment help is limited to public houses and chimneys so no help there either.

I was led to this last resort. Or should it be the first..? :) Generosity of a perfect strangers or as Blanche DuBois said: I have always depended on the kindness of strangers

Thank you

P.S. If you email me at the address [email protected] I will draw/paint you something especially for you, as a thank you card and email it back to you. So you can print it and put it on the wall as a reminder what a beautifull person you are.
