Help Me Fix Disabled Mom’s Home

     PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY DISABLED MOTHERS' HOUSE

          I am starting this fundraiser in an effort to help fix my mothers' house. She is disabled and on a fixed income and is unable to afford needed repairs within her trailer home. Some of the main issues are floors that need to be replaced, ie: her bedroom floor has a hole in it that she has to place her bed over so she doesn't fall through due to a leaky water heater. The kitchen floor, which is adjacent to her room, is also water damaged and needs repair. There are also holes in the ductwork under the home which results in her heating or cooling the underside of the trailer instead of the inside, not to mention that in the winter the drafts coming in her house are unbelievable. There are many other needed repairs that are much less urgent.

The cost of repairs is really not all that high, if I do the work myself, which I can, however, because she is on a fixed income and I barely make enough to support myself, she is unable to save enough to purchase the things she needs for such repairs. I do supplement her income every week, but it ends up being just enough to cover bills and other expenses at the end of the month.  If the major repairs were made, it would drastically reduce the amount of money she has been putting out for electric each month, and would enable her to save for the smaller repairs that need to be done around the house.
