Campaign Story
Hello Everyone,
My name is Zsigmond from Hungary, studying Masters in Arabic language and culture at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest, aspiring to be a diplomat. To perfect my skills in the Arabic language I applied and got accepted to a scholarship in Jordan, to the Language Centre of The University of Jordan. I am departing to start my studies in Jordan in the middle of February 2022. Although the Jordanian government is financing me with 40 JOD (18000 HUF/56US dollar) per month, it is not enough for living in such an expensive country, in addition the university does not offer any accommodation for male students (only for females). The Hungarian government withdrew all of the financial aid I was expecting (350 000HUF/month or 1075 US dollars/month), because I had to postpone my scholarship a year due to the Covid19 pandemic.
In my studies I always received outstanding marks. I got a maximum of mark 5 in my Bachelors diploma in Arabic language and culture, and in my Masters degree I'm receiving similarly high marks so far. Apart from my studies at my university, I'm attending Ludovika Collegium, a talent program offered by The University of Public Service of Hungary, where I receive education in the matters of public service, political theory, leadership, skills in communication, conflict management etc.
In order to perfect my skills in the Arabic Language - which I can later use in my carrier in diplomacy - it is indispensable for me to take part in this scholarship in Jordan. However, the financing of my stay there is still a question. If you could help me solve this question, please consider a small donation!
