Campaign Story
Hello. I’m Elise. Thank you for visiting my campaign.
July of this year, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic/Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). ALL is an aggressive type of leukemia. If not diagnosed early, it could lead to death.
Although having cancer sucks no matter the time, it’s become a little more challenging since we’re in the middle of a global pandemic. I have no antibodies, and because of chemotherapy, my white blood cells which fight infections are lower than normal. I also haven’t gotten a vaccine because I contracted COVID-19 when I was scheduled to receive one.
Then, in August, I received yet another devastating news. I was told I have Philadelphia Chromosome Positive ALL. My doctor explained that the possibility of my leukemia recurring is high because of this. One way to lower that possibility it is to get a bone marrow transplant. My brother has kindly and selflessly agreed to be my donor. We’re conducting some tests to see if we’re compatible.
This type of procedure costs around P 3, 000, 000 or about $ 60, 000. My bone marrow transplant is temporarily scheduled for December or January of next year. As of September 2021, I still have 6 months of chemotherapy left which costs more or less P 100, 000 a month. I also undergo different blood tests per week and take at least 10 types of medications. With your help, I am hoping to raise enough money for this life-saving procedure and other medical costs.

I was confined
Update posted by Elise del Rosario at 11:42 amI was confined from Sept 23 to Oct 5 because of bacterial pneumonia. I was even almost transferred to the ICU because of my condition. My pulmonologist said my lungs were like someone who has COVID-19. Fortunately, my doctors were able to remove the fluids from my lungs with strong. . . . .
