My name is Cyan and I want to give you the opportunity to join the fight against one of the greatest evils facing our world today; human trafficking. Every day, women, men and children are lured into slavery by the promise of a job or relationship as well as through social media, only to be drugged, raped, beaten until they comply with their captors’ demands when they get to the other side. Sometimes its forced prostitution, sometimes its forced labour, but it always robs people of their basic human right, freedom. There are estimated 40 million people in slavery and only 1% ever get rescued!! - BUT!!!

What if you could help stop them before they entered a life of trafficking?

I have joined Love Justice, a pioneering NGO that is using the world’s most effective strategy to fight this evil; transit monitoring. We work to prevent people from being trafficked whilst they are being trafficked but before they are exploited. It is cost-effective, preventative and it works! We currently operate in 14 countries and rescue approximately 400 lives a month, over 20 000 people since we started have been rescued from the hell of trafficking. Think of the lives that are changed by our work?

More about me

Seeing the lives of the vulnerable being exploited through various forms of abuse has always compelled and moved me to help those that are unable to fight for themselves. I have a heart to make a difference in our community and world and believe that I can do that through fighting the horrors of human trafficking.

What do I do for Love Justice?

I am the Administrator for Love Justice North & South Africa. We are the headquarters for our African sites and I work to support the teams that operate in Southern as well as Northern Africa and the managers who oversee the work in Africa. I take care of the time consuming administrative tasks required to run an organisation, freeing up their time to find new sites where our model can work, ensuring our current stations are effective at saving lives and putting traffickers behind bars. I also do local & International Awareness talks that help protect our school children and general society from going into a life of trafficking unknowingly.

Globally we have intercepted over 20,000 people from slavery, exploitation, and abuse using our model.

We have been responsible for over 100 traffickers being put behind bars and over 700 arrests of traffickers.

We have 30 different transit monitoring stations across the globe near important hot-spots where a large percentage of trafficking occurs. Our model has been successful in 14 countries this far!

The South African arm was started in June 2016 and to date we have saved 602 potential victims on their way to slavery.
