Help me experience and learn about the world!

Have you ever had the feeling you were born in era? The wrong area of the world? The wrong culture? I am constantly battling the feeling that I do not belong in one spot, that the place I was born is not the place I was meant to live out my days. I am gifted/ cursed with Wanderlust. Though I tend to view it as a normal feeling (since I’ve felt this my whole life), I have grown to realize that not all humans feel the need to travel constantly like I do. I have found a lot of people are happy to live in one spot, settle down, take a vacation once a year and hardly move locations for the rest of their lives.That will never be the life I want and I hope to never have that life.

I know this feeling, the need to migrate and see new things, is shared with others and I hope to reach out to these people for help, in hopes of achieving at least one worldly experience I have on my ’TO-DO’ list.

Though I know many people will not see this fundraiser as important as others, as influential, or as necessary as others, to me it is all of that multiplied. No, I am not dying, and I know there are other people in the world one-thousand times more deserving of the money I am trying to raise, but I am just me, pursuing happiness and asking for help.

Though my second home is the Ocean, I do not live close enough to see her often enough. AND even though I have reached ’adulthood’ I still identify with being a mermaid. I hope some day soon I have the funds to make my own tail, in hopes of working with a rehabilitation center for marine life and help educate kids about our beautiful oceans...but thats a different story. The point is: I NEED TO SEE THE OCEAN. Often. I hope to live close to her soon.

What I will be doing with the funds raised is backpacking/camping/ traveling around one of the many countries I have been waiting to experience, documenting the trip with videos and pictures, and immersing myself in a culture that does not speak my language (hoping, obviously, to gain knowledge of the language and culture). The goal of all my wordly experiences is to one day work and live in another country, somehow helping the wildlife there. I would love to work with marine life, but ill never know for sure what my specific goal is if I dont go out and find it. SO I NEED YOUR HELP. Every cent is appriciated and POSITIVE VIBES to all who read this.
