Hello. My name is Sha-dé. I'm a 34 year old single mom, and two years ago after hearing about another little girl being assaulted in my country, I decided it was time for me to study Criminology and Psychology. I want to help, not only my country, but other countries deal with the crime problem we are facing today. Our children should be able to play outside.
Last year, I received funding from an organisation called NSFAS. This year, however, due to the pandemic, they have seen a massive increase in applications and have not paid my fees for last year. According to them, only if I am funded this year will last years fees be paid. Should I not be funded I will have to pay all outstanding fees or risk my registration being cancelled. I am unemployed and not able to help myself in this situation.
The amount I need help with will cover last year's fees, this year's fee, and the one textbook I need for the year which is called Personology: From individual to ecosystem.
Donations may be made directly to the university. My student number reference and bank details are in the statement attached.
Of the 10 modules I passed last year, 6 of them I passed with distinctions. I am absolutely committed to this because I know how much the problem of crime needs to be solved. So I'm reaching out to you, help me achieve this dream. The dream of a safer society.
