Help me buy equipment for my educational video podcast

Dear Friends –

My name is Louis, from Flores Island of Indonesia, near Komodo National Park. I am a Tour Guide who has accompanied tourists for the past 8 years who want to see the islands of Komodo National Park, the Komodo dragons, or explore the island of Flores and experience the exotic cultures and spectacular landscape. Competition in the tourism business is high and requires specialized skills. Consequently, in 2018 I enrolled in college with a major in ecotourism. I will receive my degree (Diploma 3) in August 2021.

As you can imagine, since the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism has basically ceased to exist. Like for so many people, the pandemic has resulted in my being unable to work and a loss of income. Without having any assurances of when tourism will resume in any way, shape, or form, I came up with the idea to do something to benefit the people of Flores who are struggling during these hard times. I have started a video podcast called “Mabar Bicara Podcast,” which is offered on Facebook Live and YouTube. The aim is to inspire people in Komodo, Labuan Bajo, and Flores Island by sharing information and knowledge about tourism, conservation, education, culture, social life, and other relevant topics. I interview and discuss the topics with experts in the field. However, I am not able to afford the appropriate equipment for the podcast, because what I am currently using is at times dysfunctional and also distracts from the professionalism that I would like to have for the viewers.

Could you please help me to acquire what I need to take this podcast to the level of professionalism it requires? I hope to raise 12 million rupiah (850 USD) for the podcast starter kit. In addition, I must pay my college tuition so that I can graduate this summer. To do so, I hope to raise 15 million rupiah (1,060 USD). Any contribution of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Saya telah memulai podcast video berjudul “Mabar Bicara Podcast,” yang disiarkan melalui Facebook Live dan YouTube. Tujuannya untuk menginspirasi masyarakat di Komodo, Labuan Bajo, dan Pulau Flores dengan berbagi informasi dan pengetahuan tentang pariwisata, konservasi, pendidikan, budaya, kehidupan sosial, dan topik terkait lainnya. Saya mewawancarai dan mendiskusikan topik dengan para ahli di bidangnya. Namun, saya tidak mampu membeli peralatan yang sesuai untuk podcast, karena apa yang saya gunakan saat ini terkadang tidak berfungsi dan juga mengalihkan perhatian dari profesionalisme yang ingin saya miliki untuk pemirsa.

Bisakah Anda membantu saya mendapatkan apa yang saya butuhkan untuk membawa podcast ini ke tingkat profesionalisme yang dibutuhkan? Saya berharap dapat mengumpulkan 12 juta rupiah (850 USD) untuk kit starter podcast. Selain itu, saya harus membayar uang kuliah agar saya bisa lulus musim panas ini. Untuk melakukannya, saya berharap dapat mengumpulkan 15 juta rupiah (1.060 USD). Setiap kontribusi dalam jumlah berapa pun akan sangat dihargai.
