Help Me Buy A Phone for Online College

Hello, my name is Sabian and I need a phone for online college

Outline of the situation:

My father and mother got divorced when I was still a child. Because my mother's job is only enough to fulfill basic needs, I asked my father to chip in for a phone. He told me to transfer my savings to him and so I did. A few days later, my father told me that he has a personal problem and I can't contact him ever since. He also has not returned my money.

Why don't I just get a job?

I had a job as a cook helper and quit because I need to study for college entrance exams. The money I saved from that job is the money my father took. It's also hard for me to find another job in these times.

Why do I need a phone?

Currently, I'm borrowing my mother's boyfriend's old phone. However it doesn't support the apps that are needed for online learning (such as Zoom and the like). It can only be used for Whatsapp and calls.

Disclaimer:

I'm not buying an expensive phone. I just needed a phone with a decent amount of storage and decent specs.
