Hello!

Let me introduce myself, My name is Abdallah Abis, an University student from Morocco

I want to be a programmer

You've been probably asked one question that most of the teachers ask in primary school, 'What do you want to be when you grow up?', And most likely your answer was something that you are passionate about

I have been asked the same question and my answer was a 'Pilot', not because I'm obsessed with planes, but because that was the answer of the majority of my classmates.

After graduating from high school and going to university I realized how much I'm obsessed with computers and technology, I never knew that because I never had a computer until university.

My brother has bought me a laptop when i enter university

Thanks to my brother who bought me an intel i3 with 4GB of RAM old HP laptop, which helped me to learn many things over the past 1 and a half years.

I started to learn web development about 4 months ago, throughout that period of time, I was able to learn HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, and I'm now able to create simple, interactive, responsive websites.

New better quality laptop is necessary for learning programming

I learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and I'm able now to make responsive, interactive web projects, such as product landing pages

But when I started learning ReactJs my +10 years old laptop gets crashes all the time, because it's too old and it can't handle being the server or running multiple apps at the same time.

For learning programming, it is definitely require a high-end computer with at least 8GB of ram and intel i5 processor.

So I have started the crowdfunding campaign to collect money to buy a newer and better laptop for myself to continue my journey learning web development.

I cannot afford to buy a better quality of computer

My hometown is a village in Tanalt, Morocco. I have moved into Ait Melloul for university because my village is too far.

I live in a garage here in Ait Melloul because the rent is quite high and my family can't afford it

As I'm from a village and my parents are living in the village, I can't afford to buy a laptop, because both my parents don't work and I only live using my scholarship which is 1700DH ( around 170 USD ) every three months, these money aren't enough to get me a laptop even if I save all of them,

plus it's hard to get a part-time job here, and if you were lucky and got one, the pay will be less than $10 a day.

Usage of the funds

I will use all the funds to buy a laptop and a desk with a chair if I raised enough money to cover all of that, if not, then buying a better laptop will be enough.

If i could collect $1500, I will buy a laptop with ram 8GB/intel i5 processor, a desk. if I got less then a laptop only, and if I got more I will add the chair.

Your support will help my passion and dream

I have decided to make this fundraising post to get help to buy myself a high-end laptop, which can handle all the programming. so please help me with anything you can, and please share this post with your friends if you can because sharing is a powerful tool that can help me raise enough money to buy myself a laptop.

please note, if you need a basic/simple website for your startup I can make it for you for free either if you donated or not.and also note that I probably won't be able to pay all of you back, but I will make sure to help others whenever I can and ask them to help others as well, because that way, the world will become a better place to live in.

Thank you so much in advance
