Help me build a better home for my Mom…

I really want to give my mother a better place to stay and can be called "Home." My mother's condition is not

well but somehow we manage to provide the needed medications and monthly check-up.

Last year, she had a stroke twice. She was hospitalized and as per the doctors, she had only one lungs working, and has a kidney and heart problem. Thanks God that she is now stable and getting strong.The salary of both me and my brother is just enough to sustain the needed medication and daily needs of the family. We are not very fortunate but we are working hard to have a better life. Due to work, we left her alone in the house. I really love my mother so much that I want her to be comfortable. It is embarrassing but I will really appreciate any help I receive here.

To give you a picture of our house:

It is just a small house and we have lived here for 20 years. When my father and mother got separated on the year 2002, the house was not maintained anymore. We struggle but we know that the only way to overcome poverty is to finish our studies and work. We are now working but our income is enough for our daily needs. Me and my brother had to do two jobs in order to fill up the additional expense.

The roof and its foundation is frail due to termite infestation 10 years ago.

The wooden cabinet installed on the wall collapsed. We set aside it in case we can still use it in the future.

Due to the Typhoon Haiyan, known as Super Typhoon Yolanda, some parts of the roof were detached. We replaced it with a clear vinyl roofing.

The ceiling is old and the wires are exposed. The walls need to be repainted.

Your help will be very much appreciated and I know will make my mother happy.
