Help Me Become a Nurse!!

Help me help others! That's the basic principle anyway. I am almost a year into nursing school and I love it! I have been a paramedic for almost ten years and I love working in medicine. I love the people, I love taking care of people in their time of need, I love knowing that every day I make an impact in someone's life. As a nurse I can expand my reach and do so much more than I ever could as a paramedic and that has me very excited. What has me less than thrilled is finding out that I don't have enough funding to cover all of my tuition costs much less the costs of books and fees for my remaining time in school. Under normal circumstances I am the one giving the helping hand, not asking for help, but considering the bind that I am in the and the overwhelming desire I have to become a nurse, I find myself asking strangers for help. It is not a position I am confortable with, afterall I am the caretaker not the other way around. Having said that, anything anyone is able to do to help, I appreciate it more than you know and I promise to pay it forward everyday that I am working. You never know maybe one day I will be your nurse and I can take care of you and shake your hand and say Thank You!
