Help Me Become a Neonatal Surgeon

My name is Natalie James. I am a highly motivated and determined young woman with the goal to one day be a Neonatal Surgeon. Graduating from highschool at the age of 16 with a 3.86 GPA I hit a roadblock when I came to real life money struggles. Rent, car, gas, food, jobs..did I mention I'm a single mother with a 5 month old son? I have been accepted into Univeristies for Pre-Medical programs but don't have enough money to do so. I actually need $4000 more dollars for this year of University but it seems like too much to ask from people. I am trying to go as far as possible without debt because I know I will need to take out student loans for Medical School for sure. 

Ever since I was 7 years old I wanted to do something to help people. I love children and especially babies. I have the dream of one day being able to do free surgeries for children whose families can't afford it. Growing up in China I would love to be able to help children in different countries where they don't have the kind of health care that we do. Saving someone's child is an amazing gift, a blessing to them and their family and the opportunity for me to share God's love through caring for them.
