Help Me Be Cancer-Free

Hi, I'm Maricel Cleofe Esposa. Recently all my years of hard work as an accountant was rewarded with a promotion but this good news was immediately overshadowed by the news that I have Adenocarcinoma -colon cancer, stage 4.

Last December, I started coughing, the kind of cough that makes it difficult for me to breathe and sleep. These violent coughing fits only worsened overtime and up until now I am still suffering from them. Little do we know that this condition is due to the cancer cells that has metastesized from my colon to my lungs.

Since April 2019, I am unable to go to work because little efforts or movements would leave me drained all my energies. I already lost 24.58 pounds in less than two months.

The mounting medical expenses likewise drained our savings and all my health benefits. I am undergoing chemotherapy and in need of Php2,300,000 Million Pesos to complete 12 sessions of treatment.

My husband does painting work to get us by but his income is barely enough for our most basic day-to-day needs. He cannot also put out more time since I am totally dependent on him for my care. Now, we are separated from our children so that my parents can take care of them in the province.
