Hello :)

I am Angelique, I am 25 years old. I have an Idiopathic scoliosis with two curves (34.5° - 30°)

Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine. It can cause several types of pain (back pain, headaches, etc.) In severe cases it can also cause lung or heart damage due to the pressure applied on the organs. It also affects appearance (uneven shoulders and hips, torso leaning on one side, etc.)

A deviation this high is likely to progress and may eventually lead to a surgery called spinal fusion, where metal rods are screwed to your spine in order to straighten it.

As I am passionate about sports (Specifically classical ballet and horseback riding) I want to avoid surgery at all costs.

I spend a great part of my salary on Physiotherapy, Kinesiotherapy and Chiropractic treatments.

Pain is very frequent but physiotherapy reduces it.

On top of all the therapy I am doing, the Spinecor Back brace would help me prevent progression of my scoliosis, it could help correcting my posture, and reduce the pain. This brace would be mostly important for sports activities as it enables me to move properly.

It is unfortunately outside of my budget, any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I could also keep you updated on the results of the brace and the therapy if that is something you would like.

Thank you :)
