Campaign Story
I've recently been accepted into the University of Nebraska - Lincoln Community & Regional Development Graduate program for Fall 2013! There is one problem though; I live in New Haven, CT and cannot up and leave to move to Nebraska for grad school. I know what you're thinking, "why did you apply to a school you cannot attend if accepted"?
To make a long story short, I applied to the correct program; however I read about and intended to apply to an online/distance education program. That program is Community Development! I've been accepted to the right program, but did not realize until after my admission that it's not an online program.
There has to be a way to make this happen I believe! That's where I need your help! I always believe where there's a will there's a way. I'm willing to commute once a week to Lincoln, Nebraska to attend my grad classes with your assistance. Commuting includes getting to Nebraska via train, car or plane and staying over 1 night before heading back to Connecticut. This is the purpose of my fundraiser, to raise funds for commuting costs each week for my first semester of grad school!
I know it sounds crazy, but this is my dream to complete my Master's degree in Community & Regional Development (Urban Planning) starting this fall.
Thank you for taking the time and most of all, thank you and God bless for your donations.
Rewards
50 bars of my handcrafted Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Shea butter soap!
