Help Me Acheive my Mortuary Dreams!

Hello all! My name is Savhanna George and I will be attending The Dallas Institute Of Funeral Service beginning January of 2018. Classes begin January 3, hence the deadline for this campaign.
Let me tell you little about myself before we get into the nasty financial bit. I am from a small town in North Texas. Even at a young age, I was a reader, a thinker, an artist, an oddball. I knew finding my place in a world that was rapidly changing around me wasn't going to be easy, but I had dreams, ambition and goals regardless. However; coming from a working class family and being a first-generation college student made it difficult to remain that way. I lost my way for a while and thought maybe I was just not meant for the career of my dreams. Maybe I was destined to remain in the quicksand that had become my life. But one day, with the help of some very dedicated friends and the love of an amazing man, as well as the support of my Mother, I woke up. I am now back up and ready to bust through this wall!
Now on to the finances. (Everything that follows are rounded up estimates)
At the end of my mortuary schooling, I will have taken 5 quarters. Nearly half of my total tuition is covered by my federal pell grants. However, that last half that isn't covered is left to me. Here's a breakdown for y'all. Each quarter is around $3,900, almost $1,900 is left over each quarter that I have to find a way to pay. I have hit a dead end with my financial aid, so here's the plan that I am hoping will work:

I have heard a lot of success stories about this site so I figured why not! My goal for my first quarter is to go into the second, spring quarter as one of the best in my class. That way I could maybe have a better shot at more funeral-specific scholarships that would lighten the financial burden. I will start this up again if it is successful this first time around to continue raising money for my savings, supplies, a reliable vehicle and travel expenses if needed. I will leave updates about my progress and I also plan on taking you lovely people to dinner for all your help. (Also, expect an invitation for my eventual graduation) Donate what you can, but please, do not give what will set you back. I am simply here to prove that anyone can be anything and no dream is out of reach if you have the courage to ask for help and the determination to get there.
