Help Marzon Recover from Brain Disease

Marzon had sudden severe headache on the 12th of April 2022 which was followed with restlessness. He was taken to the hospital where examination showed an infection, which has become an abscess, in his brain. Antibiotics was immediately started. He seemed to be responding well to the treatment. However, a few days later, he became drowsy, and was unable to recognize his family. His heart rate started slowing down.

A neurosurgeon (specialist for brain surgeries) was consulted for other options for treatment, and a brain procedure or operation was agreed upon. This was done immediately after which Marzon showed a remarkable improvement. He is now on several intravenous medications.

Marzon's battle with the brain abscess which nearly claimed his life is still ongoing. After two weeks of critical situation, he has now been declared to be stable, and is already out of the intensive care unit.

It was two weeks but it has completely drained the family of their financial resources. We are appealing that should you find it in your heart to help, please do. Marzon and his family is extremely grateful for all your support. His medical bill has piled high up beyond his and the family's finances. Your donation will help to pay for his hospital bills. He is still under observation and full recovery is expected within two months.

Marzon Wangken is hardworking, has always been. He is a laborer, a construction worker, and is the eldest son of farmers. He has always worked to support himself and his family, taking jobs even in places away from his home in Atok, Benguet, Philippines.
