Never in a million years did I think I would have a need to start a funding campaign. Never did I think Cancer would hit so close to home...but, it has!

Life has not been fair as I have lost my Breast to the Fight For Life and against Cancer.

For a few months now, I have been having unexplained headaches and pain, along with weakness and numbness in his Left Arm. On several occasions, i was given no answers and no real solutions. On Sunday, that problem came to an abrupt halt! I went to the ER (again!) for severe pains in my neck! While there, an MRI was done and a mass was found in my neck and chest. The mass is not simply a lump, but it is actually squeezed in the gaps between the vertebrae in my neck. This explains why this pain had become so debilitating, making it difficult to eat, sleep, and focus. I was admitted to the hospital that same night and a biopsy was planned for Monday

The biopsy was performed Monday afternoon and the family was told it would take 3-4 days to get the results. On Wednesday afternoon, My doctor came to the room to tell me that the pathology results were not complete, BUT that the tumor was cancerous. It was going to take 2-5 more days to determine exactly what type of Cancer it was.By Thursday afternoon, I was informed that it appears to be Sarcoma, which is a rare form of Cancer. Because of the location of his tumor, it is inoperable. The preliminary plan is radiation followed by chemotherapy, and then more radiation.

The pathology report is still not complete, but they finally found a way to manage the pain from home. Prior to releasing me,they needed to do another MRI and conduct some strength tests. While performing the strength test, i was unable to lift my own Left arm. To avoid permanent nerve damage, radiation was scheduled to start promptly.

On Saturday, I had first round of radiation. I was then released from the hospital a few hours later. I am now home, trying to get comfortable and get some rest. I have a long road ahead of me and a lot of decisions to make once the final pathology report is released (hopefully) by the end of next week.

Because we don't know the official diagnosis, we have absolutely no way of knowing how long this road will be. In the meantime, my sister is taking a leave of absence to be my caregiver. I am on heavy pain meds to allow me to function as much as possible, but won't be able to drive myself to appointments or take care of my basic needs. The family is in no way prepared for the financial weight of this situation. I do know, however, that they want the best for me

Anything helps and we thank you in advance for anything you can donate to the cause!

Most importantly, we would ask for your prayers! Pray for the family and my friends to have strength to do all that will need to be done through this battle. Pray for the doctors to have the wisdom and clarity needed to determine how to best get me through this and on the road to recovery. I see God's hands in this situation and am holding onto hope because of that!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! Please share this campaign if you are able to. Thank you!
