Mama Resie was rushed to the hospital last Friday morning, August 10, 2018. She was discovered unconscious by my sister on her bed. The findings was she has a ruptured brain aneurysm and in the verge of coma. She was then placed in the ICU and we were advised to transfer her to the big hospitals as soon as possible like St.Lukes, La Salle, Manila Doctors or Makati Med which we can never afford. God is Good as we find a very good neurosurgeon and he advised us to transfer her to the government hospital, Jose R. Reyes MMC.

On August 12, the doctors discovered that she had acquired hydrocephalus and needs to remove the water to survive. The doctors conducted shunting seemingly successful. However, we were advised that they can't conduct the clipping unless her body can overcome the cerebral angiogram and the surgery.

On August 17, 2018, she was able to undergo CT Angiogram and they were able to identify that she has 3 aneurysms where one of which raptured. They decided to do the clipping the next morning. She survived the operations and now getting better and better. They stopped the usage of mech vent and eventually removed the oxygen entirely. She's still under observation but her status is now way better.

She's still confined here in Jose R. Reyes MMC, room 4104-A until now.

Until now, the hospital removed our access to the pharmacy as we failed to complete their demand and pay the required amount/portion of the bill. We are buying my mother's medicine out of our pocket. Our financial support is too limited and the bills, medicine and machine need to pay.

We've been in the hospital for more than 3 weeks now and our latest bill reminder has a balance of 168,987.02 excluding medicine, doctors professional fee and the payment of shunt and 3 clips that were used over the operation.

The pledges we received were used to buy her daily medicines and rent for the mechanical ventilator.
