help MAKE UP my dream

I am a final year LLB student at the University of Pretoria. I have always been a make-up artistry fanatic and last year I started making short tutorial videos on my instagram page (@dawnbarendse). Every day I fall more and more in love with the art of make-up and it is safe to say that it is my greatest passion. If I am to be honest, I have never been a persistent person regarding anything I do. I always give up or never even try in fear that I will never be good enough. But, I have always sustained my love and passion for make-up artistry.

A competition launched on Instagram about a R20 000 make-up course giveaway and I decided to enter. The competition was held by Head to Toe Make-up and Hairstyling School based in Milnerton, Cape Town, South Africa. I am so happy to announce that I did in fact win the competition. I am one step closer to becoming a professional make-up artist and realizing my dream.

I am set to be in Cape Town during September and October.

My campaign is to help pay for transportation to and from Cape Town; accomodation for the duration of my course as well as living expenses. I have already gotten so far to achieve my goal, your help would allow me to complete it and it would mean the world to me.
