Hello! Brett Stemple is a 25 yr old single father of a wonderful little 5 yr old boy, Kamden. In Feb, 2013, Brett was involved in a horrific auto accident where he barely survived. He was left with a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). Today Brett is confined to a wheelchair, cannot talk, feed himself, or do any of the every day activities that he used to do. He is totally reliant on the care of his mother, Melissa, and others. Brett enjoyed spending time with his son doing just about anything and camping was one of them. His mother and I, Jeanie, had the opportunity to purchase a beautiful piece of property in the mountains of West Virginia. Melissa thought this would be great rehabilitation for Brett and give him a place to spend outdoor time with Kamden. So, we bought the property and decided to build a campground. We wanted Brett to have his camping time with his son and also to share the beauty of the place with other families. We combined all of our resources and began work on our project. Unfortunately, after 2 yrs, it has become more than we anticipated. We have used up our resources and our project is not completed. We are asking for any help that we can possibly get to help us reach our goal. We would greatly appreciate any donation no matter how big or small or even if our story is just shared with others who could possibly help. Our goal is to raise $35K to finish our project so that we can open it up to others to come and enjoy the West Virginia mountains and make lasting memories with their families. Having this opportunity to be in the outdoors and meeting new people would be great therapy for Brett and help build a future for him.
We appreciate all that read our story and bless any of you who can help.
Thank you so much!!
