Campaign Story
I am knocking on your kind hearts to please help my friend’s 5 –year old son, Majid Grant “Emgee” Lebario.
Emgee is a sweet and loving boy who was diagnosed with WILM’S TUMOR, STAGE 3 on April 2018. Along with this, the doctors have found a thrombosis of the inferior vena cava (which is like a blood clot in the vein close to the right side of heart) after his first CT scan on April 24.
Emgee started his chemotherapy shortly after the diagnosis but with an advice from the doctors that the right kidney will still be removed once the tumor decreases its size.
After his 9th chemotherapy, last Thursday –June 28, the doctors have decided to proceed with the operation as the tumor on his right kidney has slightly gone smaller (from 11.5 x 10.7 x 11.6 cm TO 6.3 x 5.0 x 7.1 cm).
At the same time, the doctors will also need to remove the thrombosis (blood clot near the heart) as it did not dissolve completely.
Today, July 1 (Sunday), Emgee has been admitted at Perpetual Succour Hospital in Cebu City Philippines for his operation on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. A huge amount of money will be needed as two (2) operations will be done.
Please help little Emgee’s battle against cancer.
Wilms' tumor is a rare kidney cancer that primarily affects children. Also known as nephroblastoma, it's the most common cancer of the kidneys in children. Wilms' tumor most often affects children ages 3 to 4 and becomes much less common after age 5. (Source: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/wilms-tumor/symptoms-causes/syc-20352655)

Surgery Update
Update posted by Christine Gonzales at 06:16 amUpdate from my friend: Majid had undergone the surgery yesterday and the doctors successfully removed the right kidney. The bypass operation did not go through because the doctors saw that the suspected thrombosis was just a scar on his heart. Praise God! He is now in the ICU recovering. Let's
