It is with heavy heart we are sad to inform you that after many happy and
wonderful years, the Lumbalumba Diving dream in Manado is in grave danger.
Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and total
loss of income, we are on the brink of collapsing with all the nightmare
scenario's that will follow from it.
We have tried numerous ways to survive this crisis and managed to stay alive at least a year. But unfortunately have now, run out of options.
We never thought that we ever would have to start a campaign like this, in an attempt to stay alive.
To be frank, do we feel quite embarrassed to ask for your help this way.
On the other hand, all this happens without any one to blame and desperate times ask for desperate measures
In particular, do we feel and have a great
responsibility towards our dedicated and
loyal employees who have been with us for so long. They all have given
their best and trust and helped building this dive resort to what it is.
We are heavily
indebted to them and owe them and their families to do all we can to
help them keep their livelihood, get through this period and beyond.
Apart from this main reason, we have a strong sense that we also owe it to all those others who
consider our survival and existence something worth fighting for in this bizarre period.
All donations will be used to maintain our employees and families income and job security, for as long as we remain in this restricted travel period.
We thank you for your support and sincerely hope that our paths soon will cross again in Lumbalumba Diving - Manado.

Lumbalumba is an amazing dive resort. The resort is gorgeous as is the underwater life. But most impressive are our dear friends Roel, Juud and Maxi. We utmost respect them in their efforts to get through these difficult times. We intended to come by now, but covid got in the way (again). So instead this donation, with much much love.
