Help Lucky Get Lifesaving Surgery

Lucky is a sweet soi dog who was found in a golf course in Hua Hin 6 months ago. She had a severe injury to her tongue was unable to eat or drink. With proper care, she recovered from her injuries and learned how to eat and drink again.

Last month, a large mass was found on Lucky's neck. Lucky was sent to the vet for analysis and then for a second opinion at Kasetstart Veterinary Hospital. In the meantime, Lucky's condition quickly deteriorated and by the time the diagnosis was made, she was barely eating. The large mass was identified as a cyst that was pressing against her esophagus and trachea, making it difficult to breath. The only option was to try the complicated surgery to remove the cyst.

Yesterday, Lucky was urgently admitted in preparation for surgery. Two blood donor dogs were also tests to see if they were a match. Luckily, they both are and both blood donors will be needed. The total medical cost to save Lucky is estimated at 35,000 thb (1050 USD), including pre-surgery care, surgery and post-surgery care. There have already been 11,845 thb (360 USD) of medical expenses for various tests and CT scan.
