Help Loki fight against FIP

Hi everyone. The intention of this campaign is to seek for financial support to treat my furkid, Loki in battling against FIP virus. Loki was rescued when he was barely 2 months old. We developed an unbreakable bond since the first day he was rescued. I almost lose him to Parvo virus in last September and I'll do whatever it takes this time around, including this fundraising in order for him to be healthy again.

It all started back in early January. Loki initially had an eye infection that caused one of his eyes to be red and cloudy. The vet said that it could be either just a mild infection or worse, FIP. Since FIP is not easily diagnosed, we did a blood test to verify if it was really FIP. Unfortunately, Loki was confirmed to be infected with dry ocular FIP according to the blood test results and the symptoms that he has been experiencing. He was prescribed with antibiotics and steroids. However, these meds are still insufficient as they're not the cure for FIP. Loki became passive and more lethargic since that. He refuses to eat and can barely walk. Nothing has ever crushed my heart than seeing him in this condition. Therefore, I decided to use up my savings to treat him with a little help from you through this campaign.

Here is some financial breakdown for the treatment excluding the veterinary costs and other additional supplement expenses. The treatment (injection) should be done continuously for 84 days/12 week at least, depending on Loki's progress throughout the treatment. The daily dose of injection depends on Loki's current weight which means it is expected to increase as Loki gains weight during the treatment period. The calculation below is the minimum amount need to be spent.

• Dosage : 1.7 ml
• Number of vials needed for 12 weeks : 30 vials ($110 per vial)
• Estimated total cost of treatment for 12 weeks : $3,300 / RM 14,359.66

I'm humbly reaching out for your help in hopes that Loki could win this battle against the deadly FIP. In despite of his condition, Loki is very affectionate and the best stress reliever one could ever ask for. Loki is a fighter and I believe that he is beyond capable to fight this.

Forking out such a huge amount of money within a very short period is not easy for me especially in our condition now. Therefore, I extremely appreciate any amount that you spare for him. I'm equally grateful if you could spare some time to offer him a little prayer and share this around as well. My intention is no other than to treat my beloved furkid so he could be in the pink again, but also to bring to everyone's attention, especially to other cat parents who are in the same boat that FIP is now treatable.
