Help Baby Uwais For Hernia Surgery

We are Yoan & Irwan live in Bukit Lawang, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Bukit Lawang is one of the two places in the world where you can still see orangutans in the wild. Irwan worked as a tour guide taking tourist to see the orangutans in its natural environment.

Working in the travel industry, we are very much effected by the pandemic. We are now without the work and loosing income. Yoan has been applying for various jobs but no luck yet. It is getting even harder to find a job during the pandemic.

Now our youngest baby boy, Uwais, who was born last october, has got hernia (inguinalis-scrotalis) just two weeks after he was born.

He has hard times with all the basic needs - from peeing to eating. He cries hard everytime he wants to pee and poo. And he often vomits through his mouth as well as nose at the same time.

It is painful to see him in this condition everyday. He is now 1.5 years old. He needs hernia surgery to be healthy. Unluckily, we have no money as well as health insurance for the surgery.

This is all the reason why we create this campaign, to invite all of you who can, to donate a few dollars as we need to collect money for baby Uwais' hernia surgery for him to live healthy.
