Help Our 3 months old baby boy for hernia surgery and the family to survive.
We are Yoan & Irwan. We live in Bukit Lawang, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Bukit Lawang is one of the two places in the world where you can still see orangutans in the wild. Irwan works as a tour guide taking tourist to see the orangutans in its natural environment.
Working in the travel industry, we are very much effected by the pandemic. We are now without the work and loosing income. Yoan has been applying for various jobs but no luck yet. It is getting even harder to find a job during the pandemic.
Now our youngest 3 months old baby boy, Uwais, has just got hernia (inguinalis-scrotalis) two weeks after he was born, last october.
He has hard times with all the basic needs - from peeing to eating. He cries hard everytime he wants to pee and poo. And he often vomits through his mouth as well as nose at the same time.
It is painful to see him in this condition everyday. He needs hernia surgery to be healthy and happy as other healthy baby boys. Unluckily, we have no more money as well as health insurance.
We also plan to create our own job to be able for the whole family to survive, by selling groceries both offline and online. But we have no more money for equipment & logistics.
And this is all why we create this campaign – inviting you who can, to donate a few dollars as we need to collect around EUR 7500 for Uwais' hernia surgery as well as set up a grocery store for the family to survive.
We highly appreciate your kind help and donation. We sincerely thank you very much. 🙏🙏
