Mary is a cheerful 3-year-old. In early June, Mary's parents heard a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia
Carefree childhood was interrupted by a terrifying disease. The problem began in the spring of 2019, frequent colds, very low immunity, sore throat and finally thrombocytopenia (low platelet count). To save her life, cycles of chemotherapy are necessary. Mary is weakened by her illness and she needs bone marrow transplant after treatment with chemotherapy.
